Attorney’s Profile

 

Attorney Maria Elvira Garcia was born in Boston, Massachusetts.  At an early age, her family relocates to Venezuela where she is raised and completes her school and college studies.  She graduates from Law School in Venezuela from Universidad Catolica Andres Bello in Caracas in 1995.  After that, she completes a Master’s Degree in Financial Law at the same university graduating in 2000.  She makes an internship at the renowned international accounting firm KPMG working at the tax department for expatriated U.S. citizens having the opportunity to advise them before the U.S. Embassy in Caracas, Venezuela. Attorney Maria E. Garcia gets married in May 2000 and moves to North Carolina and in 2001 to Florida where she starts working in the area of immigration as a paralegal in a busy immigration law firm. In 2005, attorney Garcia is admitted to Law School at the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University to validate her career in the United States where she graduates Magna Cum Laude. In September 2007, she is admitted to the Florida Bar to practice law in the State of Florida. Maria E. Garcia is also an active member of the American Immigration Lawyer Association, AILA.

 

In 2010, she started her own immigration law firm located in West Palm Beach, Florida.  As a Solo Practitioner, Mrs. Garcia has served and successfully represented hundreds of clients, families, and businesses in their immigration matters.
